Terms & Conditions
Agreement to Proceed
Approval of this estimate serves as authorization for RidgeCo LLC, DBA Ridgecraft (“Ridgecraft”) to begin work and constitutes a binding agreement to pay the total amount outlined.
Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the schedule indicated on the estimate and/or invoice. Unless otherwise specified, final payment is due upon completion or delivery. Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) on the outstanding balance.
Changes & Additions
Any changes to the scope of work must be requested in writing and may result in additional charges. A revised estimate or signed change order may be required to proceed with changes.
Cancellations
If the project is canceled after materials have been purchased or work has begun, Ridgecraft reserves the right to invoice for work completed and materials acquired. In some cases, a partial or full payment of the original estimate may still be due.
Ownership & Delivery
Ownership of all materials and completed items remains with Ridgecraft until full payment is received. Ridgecraft retains the right to delay delivery or withhold products until the account is paid in full.
Legal Enforcement
In the event of non-payment, Ridgecraft reserves the right to pursue collection efforts, including legal action. The customer may be responsible for all associated costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, and collection agency fees, as permitted by law.
Approval of this estimate via clicking “Accept” through QuickBooks is considered legally binding and enforceable.
Date of Completion
Estimated completion dates are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Custom work involves many variables. We will communicate proactively if there are any delays.
Change Orders
All change orders are subject to a $50 administrative fee, in addition to any additional costs for materials and labor as quoted. Change requests must be submitted in writing and approved by RidgeCo LLC, DBA Ridgecraft prior to implementation. Changes may only be requested up to 10 business days before the scheduled completion date. Requests made after this period may not be accommodated and could result in project delays.
Storage Fees
Completed items must be picked up or delivered within 7 days of completion notice. A storage fee of $20/day will be charged beyond that unless other arrangements are made in writing.
Damage Upon Pickup or Delivery
Items must be inspected upon pickup or delivery. If there is any damage, it must be reported immediately. Once accepted, Ridgecraft is not liable for damage incurred during transport or after delivery. If your shipment arrives damaged, please photograph the package and its contents immediately and retain all original packaging. Submit the documentation to us within 48 hours of delivery. Once received, RidgeCo LLC, DBA Ridgecraft will initiate a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf.
Delivery Access & Fit
If delivery is requested, customers are responsible for confirming that the item will fit through doorways, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and other entry points. Ridgecraft is not responsible for items that cannot be delivered due to access limitations.
Custom Work Finality
All custom orders are final. Due to the personalized nature of custom work, returns, exchanges, or refunds are not accepted.
Design Approval & Revisions
Customers will receive a design concept or estimate for approval before production begins. Once approved, any design changes may incur additional charges and lead times.
Deposit & Payment Commitment
A non-refundable deposit is required to begin all custom work. By paying this deposit, the customer agrees to pay the full remaining balance upon completion of the project, regardless of any changes of mind or circumstances.
Cancellations & Abandonment
If the customer chooses to cancel the order after work has begun, they remain responsible for the full payment amount. No refunds will be issued once materials are purchased or work has started.
Pickup & Transport Responsibility
Customers who choose to pick up their item are solely responsible for ensuring that the item fits in their vehicle. We recommend measuring ahead of time. Ridgecraft is not liable for transportation issues once the item leaves our premises.
